Amritambara is more than a skincare brand—it's a piece of my heart.
The name is inspired by my daughter, Amber, whose innocence, purity, and joy remind me of the beauty found in simple things. "Amrit" symbolizes nature's nourishing gifts, while
"Ambara" is lovingly inspired by Amber's name.
Together, Amritambara represents a blend of tradition, care, and conscious beauty.
Inspired by age-old kitchen skincare rituals, we create gentle botanical cleansers that
celebrate simplicity, authenticity, and self-care—just as nature intended.

The founder Story….Why I Created Amritambara ✨
Hi, I'm Dr. Priyanka Rao, founder of Amritambara.
I've always believed that many of us are looking for a simpler, more natural approach to skincare. For generations, women have relied on kitchen remedies for healthy, glowing skin. Even today, millions of women watch DIY skincare videos inspired by traditional ingredients like lentils, oats, rice, herbs, and flowers. The appeal is clear—we want skincare that feels closer to nature.
But there's a challenge.
Most of us don't have the time to source ingredients, experiment with recipes, or create
balanced formulations at home. And not every DIY remedy contains the right ingredients in the right proportions to deliver a consistent experience.
As someone with a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and a deep interest in botanicals, plant extracts,
and traditional skincare wisdom, I wanted to bridge this gap.
That's how Amritambara was born.
We thoughtfully formulate powder cleansers and face packs using familiar kitchen-inspired
ingredients alongside carefully selected botanical herbs that have a long history of use in
traditional skincare and are supported by scientific research.
Our goal is simple: to make traditional, nature-inspired skincare accessible, convenient, and enjoyable for modern women.
Because not everyone has the time to make their own skincare—but everyone deserves
access to simple, mindful, and clean beauty rituals.
